This Giant Water Bug is a real asshole!!!
It eats above its station in the food chain.
Water Bugs like this are known to eat small vertebrates (frogs and fish) for dinner, but the Giant Water Bug likes to set its sights a bit higher.
They insert its syringe-like rostrum into the prey's neck in order to feed...ummmm scary...
They're nocturnal, can fly, and have a venomous bite...so they a pretty much the creepiest bugs ever!!!
Oh yeah, they are also known to bite humans too....ahhhhh
