If you are injured at any point during your outdoor trek, first responders can access your vitals by calling the VITAband hotline and giving them your unique identifier that is printed on the band. It is also there for you if you have a money emergency...god forbid you go to long without food or if you happen to travel to far from home you can swipe away and catch a ride.
